Honestly? Because security is the part of tech where the stakes feel real to me. I'm from Kramatorsk — I've watched cyber attacks be used as an actual weapon against my country. Building apps is cool, but defending things people depend on feels like work worth being good at. Also, I like puzzles where the other side is actively trying to outsmart you.
